Marketing Manager\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nThis is a role for a strategic and creative marketing professional who thrives on delivering impactful campaigns and building strong partnerships.\n\nAs Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving student recruitment, enhancing brand recognition, and creating innovative marketing solutions that resonate with diverse audiences.\n\nIf you’re passionate about education, skilled in multi-channel marketing, and ready to lead, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.\n\nWhat you'll be doing\n\nYou’ll lead the development and implementation of local and global marketing campaigns, events, and training plans to support recruitment targets and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:\n\n * Designing and delivering outreach campaigns to boost brand awareness and drive student recruitment.\n\n * Building and maintaining relationships with university stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with recruitment needs.\n\n * Organising and managing events such as open days, workshops, and information sessions within local communities.\n\n * Developing training tools and calendars for sales, admissions, and agents, including webinars and online sessions.\n\n * Creating tailored messaging for each stage of the student journey using CRM automation.\n\n * Conducting market research to inform campaigns and provide insights on competitor positioning.\n\n * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce marketing materials, including printed collateral, social media content, paid media campaigns, and alumni engagement activities.\n\n * Managing and mentoring Marketing Executives or Assistants, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.\n\nPerson Specification\n\nEssential:\n\n * A degree or equivalent marketing qualification.\n\n * At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing role within a commercially driven environment.\n\n * Proven expertise in both B2B and B2C marketing, ideally within the education sector.\n\n * Strong project management and organisational skills.\n\n * Proficiency in Adobe tools (InDesign) and online graphic platforms like Canva.\n\n * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and generative AI tools.\n\n * Exceptional copywriting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nDesirable:\n\n * Experience in marketing leadership or management roles.\n\n * Familiarity with print and digital campaign planning.\n\n * Understanding of non-traditional learner audiences and UK-funded studies.\n\nAbout the team\n\nYou’ll work closely with the Deputy Director, Partner Marketing, and collaborate with a dynamic marketing team, including specialists in community, performance, and social media.
