About the Role:

• Deliver and support engaging lessons in English
• Work with learners who require additional support to achieve GCSE qualifications
• Build students' confidence, skills, and readiness for future pathways
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with experienced FE lecturers and mentors
• Develop your teaching practice through a structured training programme
• Support learners' progression into employment, apprenticeships, or further study

Essential Experience:

• Experience supporting or leading classroom sessions (e.g. HLTA, Cover Supervisor, or similar)
• Confidence managing groups of learners in an educational setting
• A passion for supporting students to achieve their potential

Essential Qualifications:

• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
• A relevant subject background in English (desirable but not essential depending on experience)
