\n Lynx Employment Services are recruiting experienced Vegetation Operatives to support a major bridge maintenance project based in Aust, Bristol.
\n This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile infrastructure project carrying out vegetation management and environmental maintenance works across one of the UK's most important bridge networks.

## The Role

\n

As a Vegetation Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining safe access routes and controlling vegetation around the bridge infrastructure. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, you will help ensure the site remains safe, accessible and compliant with environmental standards.

### Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Carry out vegetation clearance using strimmers, brush cutters and blowers.
\n
• Maintain access routes, embankments and surrounding areas.
\n
• Remove overgrown vegetation and invasive plant species.
\n
• Operate handheld grounds maintenance equipment safely.
\n
• Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects.
\n
• Follow environmental and health & safety procedures at all times.
\n
• Work effectively as part of the bridge maintenance team.
\n

## Essential Requirements

Valid CSCS Card. National Highways Passport. Strimmer certificate. Brush Cutter certificate. Blower certificate. Previous experience in vegetation management, grounds maintenance, highways or environmental services. Ability to travel to Aust, Bristol (within approximately 1.5 hours). A strong commitment to safe working practices. \n
