Location: Optimum House, Clippers Quay, Salford, M50 3XP. Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with occasional travel to the office.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility available. Just let us know your preferences when we chat!

\n\nYour Responsibilities\n

As a Highways Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Design Team, delivering high-quality highway schemes and innovative solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Prepare technical design drawings, specifications, and reports in line with DMRB and relevant standards.
\n
• Take responsibility for delivering highway studies and smaller schemes with minimal supervision.
\n
• Collaborate closely with senior team members on major projects, owning key design elements.
\n
• Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, statutory bodies, and stakeholders to maintain excellent relationships.
\n
• Utilize AutoCAD to provide innovative engineering solutions while ensuring quality standards are met.
\n

\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n

This role is perfect for you if:

\n
• You hold a Civil Engineering degree or a similar combination of qualifications and experience.
\n
• You’re experienced in using AutoCAD and have a working knowledge of DMRB standards.
\n
• You’re working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer accreditation with a relevant professional body.
\n
• You have experience delivering a range of projects and can communicate technical information clearly.
\n
• You hold a valid driving licence and CSCS card.
\n
